Quantitative Data = Statistics
Qualitative Human Research = interviews, surveys and observations.
Primary Data = Research you have personally conducted.
Secondary Data = Existing research that other people have produced

Quantitative Date - I used the internet to research film statistics such as how much they made at the box office (Secondary Data)
Qualitative- I did a survey including 3 main but basic questions to research what my target audience (Primary Data).
Throughout my research, I have been watching many different types of sub-genres of the horror genre such as 'The Exorcist', 'Paranormal activity', 'Insidious' & 'Get Out'. This has helped me decide on which film sub-genre I was going to portray and to study those specific film conventions.
